I left California, by ship, with 2nd plt, E Co, 2/5 and trained in Okinawa for two months. Landed in Vietnam on April 13, 1966. After 2 weeks I was tranfered to M Co, 3/1. Severed with them until Feb. 1967. Returned to Vietnam with C Co 1/27 in Feb. 1968 until July 1968 when I was rotated back to the World. Will always be proud that I served with the 5th Marines, and the men I served with.
