Semper fi and stay strong. transferring from MP to grunt was the best thing to ever happen to me. i should have gone infantry in the first place. thanks to sgtmaj Brown in the 3rd MAW, i ended up in a good place with the fighting fifth. i still remember the day i checked in and the supply clerk issued me the fourrage. unfortunately because of some mistakes and a piss poor command in the air wing, i was denied re-enlistment. not that i didn't get in trouble as a grunt either, but it was a good kind of trouble. honorably disharged as a PVT. RE code 1A. go figure. anyway i still love the corps although i have my qualms about some of the people in it. semper fi to the most decorated battalion in the cor***

在楚來參加了2/5高爾夫球賽。誰能忘記山丘69. 06年6月底作為A / R的人。Praire的行動，Praire2，有沒有Praire3？密西西比州行動。得到Trenchfoot，然后南到安和。難道真的沒有那么著急嗎？然后去Phu loc 6.那里沒有橋那么...在那里？在1966年12月19日的左腿被射中了......多么圣誕節(jié)禮物的金色BB。有人告訴我，我是第一個在非軍事區(qū)伏擊夜的時候開槍的人......不會承認的。但20年后，我接受了這個事實。我想這與過線有關(guān)。軍士。道森和我一樣的伏擊身亡。弗羅斯特在他的上臂皮膚下吹起了他的發(fā)射機制。消防隊長...一些Lcpl。我不記得他的一條腿幾乎被射死了。他在我身后。那天伏兵大概是第一班的一半。Dawson，Crumb，Daniel Day（朋友），Frost，Pierce，Thomas，Mad Dog Joe Madruga（好人）。其余的我都不記得了。

我真的很想，如果我可以聯(lián)系一些老隊伍。在很多方面，我在越南是一個傻瓜，我也很害怕，但是這也是我一生中最勇敢的。我會永遠記得我是一名海軍陸戰(zhàn)隊員。在戰(zhàn)斗中......在我一生中很短的時間里，我作為一個非常危險的人走遍了地球。

在E，2/5在1956年和57作為一個步槍手和BAR男子。在我和E 2/5的時候，我們有一個Codispoti營的指揮官，他相信長時間的艱苦的軍隊游行。我總是記得那些軍人會適用于我們的腳步。當(dāng)我還記得我們的公司在回到瑪格麗塔營后，是否會讓指定的公司鼓手鼓從吉普車拖車上打鼓并鼓動我們回到公司地區(qū)時，我也笑了起來。

令人驚訝的是，我們中的很多人會因為起泡的腳而跛行，并且巧妙地回到公司區(qū)域。不能忘記在內(nèi)華達州的沙漠巖石（我曾擔(dān)任放射監(jiān)測器）的原子彈測試。它確實讓我們所有人都明白原子武器的使用是多么可怕。

我在1980年7月退出了第二師，但是總是很好的記得我第一次和E，2/5一起巡回演出。一個偉大的公司。我經(jīng)常想知道曾經(jīng)發(fā)生過什么事情的白俄羅斯人，他也是一個喜歡呆在水池里，而不是自由的BAR男人。他曾在韓國服役，是“凍結(jié)的選擇”之一。
